The Fellsman is Proud to support the Friends Of The Three Peaks. We want to ensure that the landscape that we all love and that makes the Fellsman the Fellsman is there in years to come for future generations to enjoy. To make sure this is the case, a small amount of every competitor’s entry fee goes to the Three Peaks project, details of which can be found below.

THE THREE PEAKS

“The Three Peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside are the best known hills in the Yorkshire Dales National Park – their distinctive outlines dominate the area. Every year large numbers of people get to the top of at least one of the fells, many reach all of the summits. A significant number of people do so as part of charity fundraising events. The pressure this puts on the path network means that the National Park Authority has to employ an additional Ranger just to maintain the paths. For this reason we set up the Three Peaks Project to fund this maintenance work” The Yorkshire dales National Park Authority.
